DOROTHY,
I had not seen John Bristows Will. I wonder why he didn't mention
the 2 children he had by Mary? Maybe he wanted to be sure his chidren by
previous marriage were not forgotten in the distribution of estate???
Also, I did find in the Christ church Parish records shows daughter
Mary Bristow b.Aug 15, 1715, and her marriage banns date to Christopher
Ammon was Jan 29, 1735. Does he mention in his book how he knows that
Christopher Ammon and Catherine Ammon are siblings? I felt sure they
were, but have not seen proof.

My hole persnall estate to be equally divided betwne my wife and children.
My sons Nicholas and James Bristow executors.

Mary Goodloe had two children by her second husband John Bristow:
Jedediah Bristow (1713-1782+) m 1740 Catherine Thomson (1724-1741), They
married in Middlesex County, where she died at the birth of their only
child, Thomson Bristow (1741-1818 ) his birth is listed on p. 153 of
Christ
Churct Register.
Mary Bristow (1715 - ) m Christoper Ammon ( - ) .
(Mary Bristow and Joseph Carter were half siblings--Mary Goodloe was
mother
of each and they m full siblings, Christoper and Catherine Ammon)
There is more information on this family, but I need to see if I can get
my
other scanner going to send it to you.
