Hey Mary,
No problem about that look up Pinkney Carter. I just copied here to there...Shows
the name was royalty. Besides my maternal side has this name, Charles Pinkney, arrived in
Roxbury, MA 1630 so it was a check up for myself, too. Don't feel bad.
Also, 2 generations on Dad's Carter side have middle initials "P"
but never recorded name............I think it was Pinkney now! We'll see.

I feel awful!!! Thank you soooo very much for all your hard work and obvious long hours
trying to help. I must not have written the correct things or left something out.
First let me say, I am truly grateful for all the help I recieve from wonderful people
like you willing to help fellow researchers like me, especially since, I'm the first
to admit I am a novice at all this and still learning the in and outs of researching. My
Pinkney was Pinkney CARTER. Pinkney is a first , or a middle name. Carter is the surname.
Timothy Bidleman helped me find my Pinkney Carter. He was listed in Fauquier co, VA.
Pinkney, come to find out, is his middle name. His full name was Charles Pinkney Carter
b. Oct 9, 1842. He named his son Pinkney Charles "Carlie" Carter. My grandmother
only knew his name as Pinkney.
