Clarence Calvn "C.C." Carter Jr. of Tukwila, died of kidney cancer at Swedish
Hospital in Seattle. He was 56.
Born November 2, 1946 in Barksdale Field, Louisiana, he served in the Army
from 1967 to 1969 in Vietnam, then in the Coast Guard Reserve from 1983 to 1989
as an engineer and crewman on search and rescue boats. He married Pam Lane in
Spokane and lived in the South King Co. area for 29 years.
Mr. Carter worked as a mechanical drafter and designer at the Boeing Co. for
15 years, and most recently as a truck driver delivering fuel to service
stations. A do-it-yourselfer, he enjoyed computers, golfing, motorcycling and
camping.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Carter iof Tukwila, daughters Marianne Carter
and Patty Carter, both of Tukwila; sister, Carmen Sonneboirn of Medical Lake
and his mother, Thelma Carter of Cheney, Wa.
