Dear Pam,
I am a Carter desc., and saw your very generous offer. Was wondering if
you would look and see if my Carter line is listed in your books?
James Carter born abt. 1734, probably VA., was in Bladen/Robeson Co.,
NC 1768, had sons Isaac (born abt. 1754), James, Mark, and Emmanuel, who
were also in NC with their father. This has been a major brick wall of mine
for a very long time and would really appreciate you looking in your book to
see if my Carter line is mentioned.
Thank You Very Much,
Mary Stuart (granddaughter of Wm. Bart Carter)

Subject: [CARTER] Books that I can share if needed (CARTER)
I have in my possecion two books that may help CARTER researchers that
have
family from Virginia very early on. I am willing to look for specifics.
1. THE CARTERS OF VIRGINIA Ibeliev this was written by Noel Currer Briggs,
but is quite damged, so I do not know for certain.
2. THE DESCENDANTS OF CAPT. THOMAS CARTER 1652 - 1912 by Dr. Joseph Lyon
Miller
