How long did it take to get the answer back on the DNA?

Hi,
My husband had his DNA tested a little bit ago (kit 89246), and we
discovered that his was an exact match to that of a McKinney Carter, place
of birth unknown, who had some children in Tennessee in the earlyish 1800s
before moving to Indiana.
My husband's earliest known ancestor to date has up till now been a Solomon
Carter, born 1813 in Wilson Co. TN.
Recently I've been exchanging e-mail with a woman who is descended from Enos
B(enthall) Carter, born 1819 in Wilson Co. TN; I believe he was a brother of
Solomon. She (and now I) believes that Solomon and Enos's parents were
Alexander Carter (likely born 1780-90 in or near Hertford Co. NC) and Rhoda
Benthall (born after the 1790 census, Sumner Co. TN). Alexander and family
and Solomon and family were living near each other in the 1840 Rutherford
Co. TN census.
Other clues we have to work with are that a Cullen or Cullin Carter and a
John Carter seem to have been close relations to Enos and Solomon. Also,
families that the Carters and Benthalls seem to have known from NC and into
TN included the names Stewart, Bond(s), and Bloodworth.
We have not yet been able to determine who the parents of Alexander Carter
were. The Carter needs to be in Group 7 (at
carter-cousins.org).
Does any of this ring a bell with anyone?
Thank you.
