Hi Geri,
Well, some people think that.... But I have no proof, so I am not sure...
Did he migrate to NC, have lots of children there, then move to Hardin
County, Kentucky where he died in 1810 (probate records)???

Subject: [CARTER] Carter DNA?
Hello,
Has any male Carter descendant of Samuel Carter, b. abt 1745 "of" North
Carolina, died before Jan 1810 in Hardin County, Kentucky, wife Susannah
and
8 known children, had their DNA tested?
I descend from this couple through their daughter, Susannah, who married
Joseph Brown in 1808 in Hardin County, Kentucky.
Do not have any further information about Samuel and Susannah Carter.
Kathie
