I am a Carter descendant from Lewes, DE and am only able to trace our tree to around
1800. My dead end is Ephraim Carter who lived in Kent Co. If you have any info to help
me, I would be most appreciative! Thank you - Holly Clark

I am looking for information on this branch of the Carter Family. I am
descended (GGGG grandson) of Thomas - born in 1797. He married Henrietta
Link around 1820, then migrated to Meriwether County GA by 1840. After
Henrietta died about 1848, he remarried widow Sarah Pearson about 1850 and
migrated to Coosa County, AL.
I would be happy to correspond and share information I have on the Carter
family in Coosa County.
