I am researching Robert D. Carter who is listed on 1810 and 1830 census for Jackson County
Georgia. Are any researchers out there familiar with Carters from Jackson County
Georgia?
Thanks!

Subject: Re: [CARTER] JOHN A. CARTER & AVRILLA McMICHAEL
Hi, Donna,
I have been hoping for some time to get Y-DNA from this line. I believe Joseph H. Carter
(son of John Alexander Carter & Ayrilla McMichael) is the only known male Carter line
from Richard Carter (son of John Carter & Mary Cunningham).
As I recall, I think the General's book reports that Richard Carter moved to Alabama
but I believe he really moved to Greene County, Georgia.
I would be glad to have you join the Giles Carter group:

Subject: [CARTER] JOHN A. CARTER & AVRILLA McMICHAEL
Is anyone researching John A. Carter & Avrilla McMichael? Jasper County to Randolph
County, GA.
I am interested in their daughter Mary Elizabeth Carter. Does anyone have a marriage for
her? I am still researching
the theory that she might have married James Jefferson Eldridge.
Also, our family DNA suggest that we might have a Taylor in our Family. One researcher
has that John Carter's parents were Francis Carter and Margaret Taylor.
Thank you for your help.
