I do not know when they passed away. Thomas was born in 1770 and Susanna
was born in 1774. They were married Stepember 5, 11795 in Albemarle County,
VA. She was the daughter of George and Susan Henderson Dudley. Hope you
can come up with more information that I have been able to get. Please let
me know if you do.

Joyce,
My great great grandfather was Alexander Carter, born 1803 in Albermarle
Co. VA. Per family written information, he and his mother and possibly
her parents moved to Ohio in 1812. We don't know her name or her
husband's name. We have been to Albermarle County, VA and visited the
libraries in Charlottesville to try and get info on Alexander. We were
unsuccessful to find anything. A long shot, but when did Thomas Carter
who married Susanna Dudley pass away and was he ever married before or
after Susanna?
We find Alexander in Ohio tax records in 1823 and have a copy of his first
marriage certificate, and then subsequently later he moved to Nebraska.
Just looking for any clue as to who Alexander's father and mother are. If
you have any ideas, please let me know.
Thanks,
Andrea Hamlow
