Subject: Re: [CARTER] CARTER Family Photograph
Good luck finding the family. If that doesn't work out I suggest
the
historical or genealogical
society as the next best place for it.
"1120 N 20" looks like an address.
Elaine Oakes
I've "rescued" an old photograph of Dora CARTER of Omaha, Nebraska. The
photograph was taken at the Hall Studio, though there is no city or town
indicated for the studio. I would guess that the photograph was taken in
the early 1900's and that Dora was in her 50's or 60's at the time it was
taken. In addition to her name and hometown, someone has also written
"1120
N 20" on the back of the photograph, though I've no idea what if anything
that might mean.
I am hoping to locate someone from Dora's family so that this wonderful
old
treasure can be returned to the care of her family. If you are a member
of
this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
