I think that's a little hard to prove without more evidence. I don't seen
much of any similarity in the naming patterns between the Halifax will which
names daughters Nancy, Elizabeth, Polly ,Sally & Deliah (Delilah?), sons
Harris, Gideon, & Joseph. Although they both seem to have daughters
Elizabeth/Betty, Mary/Polly, Sarah/Sally, those were fairly common names and
would have been in almost every family of the time. If they both had more
of the uncommon names such as Judith, Carolina, or Landon, then, I think
that would be a more likely possibility, but unless you have more info about
the families, I don't see how a connection can be made with just the
information at hand.

Subject: [CARTER] Charles Carter-King George Co VA and Halifax Co NC
There is a Will of Charles Carter in King George County, VA, pp.
169-210,
dated 1764, in which he names a son Charles Carter. Other children are
Betty, Mary (now wife of Charles Carter of Corotoman), Judith, Ann, Maria,
Lucy, Jane Bird, Sarah, Carolina, Judith Banks, John, Landon. You can
look
at the King George County Will at
www.freeafricanamericans.com/halifax.htm.
Does anyone claim to be a descendant of this son, Charles, above?
I believe the son, Charles Carter, mentioned above may be the Charles
Carter
in Halifax County, NC, whose Will is dated August 16, 1810. The dates
fit. There are 46 years between 1764 and 1810, so Charles Carter of
Halifax
would be the right age. I will next look for collateral families between
the two counties. Does anyone have any comments?
