Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I'm sure it will be fixed. We went through this before...
In the meantime, put the email address on your "block" list. All of my
mails have been automatically going to my spam folder, since this is what I
did the last time. So far, we've had about 200 mails, and last time it was
over 500.

I suggest you don't post to the list until this stops. It's been reported
to both the Administrator and to Rootsweb.
There seems to be a server problem and messages only increase the problem.
If your email account has the capability, I would suggest you put the
person's email address on your "Blocked List", that's what I did. For some
reason, the person's email address is coming up as the "Reply to" when you
hit that button, but make sure that is the case in your email account before
blocking them, so that you don't block the CARTER List.

I have a 'rogue' line of Carter's that appears to be Mixed Blood Cherokee.
We have an eligible candidate for DNA testing but funds aren't available.
Are any funds available to help out. If so please reply to
bjreece(a)bellsouth.net for more info.

I am interested in the Jane Mullins who married John Carter and lived in Grainger Co, Tenn in the 1830's.
Do you know who Jane's parents were?
My Mullins line is Joseph Mullins born 1739 in Va and married Mary.
Trying to find lost children of this couple.
They had son Thomas Richardson Mullins who married Franky Cobb in Grainger County.
Thomas Richardson Mullins had son Anderson Mullins who married Louisa Carter in Franklin Co, Tenn.

I am. He was my 3-g grandfather. I have extensive information on his descendants but nothing on his ancestors. He is one of my brick walls. Will be glad to share.
