Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Is there anybody out there doing any Carters around Ohio??? I am on the
Ohio roots web also,but never see any...I am looking for a Robert Carter
born around 1850 cira. His brother, Albert is our ancestor. Thanks for

Norma E. Carter, resident of Redmond, Washington, died Friday, September 13,
2002 at age 84. She was born April 9, 1918 in Archer, Nebraska. She was
preceded in death by husbands, Don W. Smith in 1983 and Eugene V. Carter in
1996 and is survived gy son, Dan W. Smith of Flagstaff, Arizona; daughter
Kathleen Michael of Kent, Washington; three sisters and one brother.
Interment at Cedar Lawns Memorial Park. ( I am not related to this family) -

John CARTER, 11-14-1867, in Putnam County, In... Perhaps was a 2nd marriage
for her... Was she originally Ann Eliza BRANDT, who married Loe W Sinclair,
5-4-1858... Any help at all appreciated.

Janette Lois Anderson Carter, after a courageous battle with cancer, Janette
Carter joined our lord on September 11, 2002 peacefully at home surrounded by
family and friends.
Janettte was born in Moorhead, Iowa on July 22, 1933. She attended school in
Council Bluffs, Iowa until her family moved to Seattle in 1942. She graduated
from Lincoln High School in Seattle in 1951. She finished her education at
oregon State University and Art School in San Francisco, California. Janette
worked for Boeing Aircraft Company for nearly 30 years as a drafter. She
lived with her family in Auburn, Washington since 1980. Janette is survived
by her husband Richard Carter of Auburn, daughter Julie Ann Carter of Auburn,
sister Phyllis Richards and husband Monty Richards of Hawaii, nephew John
Richards and wife Amber Richards of Hawaii, niece Patty Giles and husband
Doug Giles of Hawaii, nephew Gregory Leech of Everett, Washington and aunt
Hazel Grant of Florida. Services to be held at Yahn & Sons Funeral Home, 55
W. Valley Hiway, Aburn on Sept. 16, 2002. (I am not related to this family) -
