Well, here it is the day before Easter, it is only noon and already I
have had five (5) of these virus messages sent to me today. I don't
know the lists they are coming from but the messages are from all over
the world the last one was from someone in New Zealand. Now beware of
this one because it looks official from Microsoft.
Here is how it starts:
From: Microsoft Corporation Security Center
Subject: Internet Security Update
Message: Microsoft Customer, this is the latest version of security
update, the update which eliminates all known security vulnerabilities
affecting Internet Explorer and MS Outlook/Express as well as six new
vulnerabilities
It then goes on to tell you to open the attachment to make the so-called
update. THE ATTACHMENT IS THE VIRUS, DON'T OPEN IT! Sorry, I yelled,
but I am getting tired of people opening attachments no matter how many
times I send these warnings. If you get one of these, delete it, don't
even read it!
