Hello Carter DNA List,
My Prince list is just beginning the DNA testing project. Their list has at least as much
traffic as our Carter-L list had, if not more. There has not been one negative email.
Below is one I thought particularly funny; it began the exchanges, both serious and
funny.
I received my DNA kit on Saturday, also. I will mail it on Monday. If
per chance, in six weeks or so, it is determined that I am not a Prince,
then I will bid all a fond farewell and unsubscribe. :-) Well, you
never know!
Phil Prince
Says something about some of us Carters. (I can say that since I am a Carter)
Although I am not the chairman of this project, and Vickie is doing a wonderful job, I
feel she won't mind if I take it upon myself to ask for volunteers for sending out
flyers.
I have done three states--Arkansas, Florida, Alabama.
I would gladly do more, but cannot afford the postage. If anyone is willing to bear the
expense of a state, I will type the labels and send them to them. They can print and fold
the letters/flyers. I did not use an envelope; just folded the letter and the label over
and stapled them, put the label on, my own return address, and the stamp. (I have had
three returned and found forwarding addresses for two of them.
Regards to all
