Vickie, I want to thank you and the Carter group for letting me post my
Carter tree even though we haven't participated in the actual DNA testing.
We are getting close to having a male relative take the test.
I would like to mention that my George W Carter's line started in Louisiana,
probably in Ouachita Parish, and migrated to McLennan, Erath, and Comanche
counties in Texas.
Would love to hear from anyone.
Thank you for this great site and project.

Subject: [CARTER-DNA] New Photos and Request for Updated Trees
Dear Group:
I have added new photos to our photo page. Marcy has just received them
from a
distant cousins, and of course, was thrilled.
I am subscribed to all of the county mailing lists in VA and TN. Whenever
I see a
post concerning Carters I look for a connection on our site. But,
some of our trees do not have places, just names and I can't always make a
connection. If you would like to send updated information to me at any
time, please don't hesitate. I don't mind making changes at all. The more
information we have on our site the better chance we will have of connecting
with other Carters.
Thanks,
Vickie
