Dear Vickie,
I have a double first cousin who has finallt agreed to give his DNA. I told
him that I would send him the information for doing it. But it turns out
that I have a problem. His Mother's maiden name was Carter, but his Dad's
name was Mickleboro. How do I find out if there is a Mickleboro web-site. If
there is not one, is there some other way he could give his DNA? Any help
you could give me on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Jane Carter Michaels (JCM123@charter,net)

Subject: [CARTER-DNA] Carter Ancestry
Dear Group:
This was sent to me to post on the list by Sheila Kline.
Looking to see if my Carter ancesters are in any of the DNA test
groups...Eson (Esom) Carter married to Sarah Jane (Foster, or McMillan?),
who had son Newton Carter...married a Sarah (possibly Estep-she had 2
daughters living with them in census who were not Newton's children).
They had daughter, Sarah Frances (Fannie) , born 1870, died 2/3/1933, who
married Marion Francis Brooks. Newton also married a Carline (Caroline)
Phillips, and she was the mother of 13 children. All are from Muddy Creek
Mountain, Greenbrier County, WV. Newton and Carline lived in Blue Sulpher
district.
You can reply to the list if you have any information for Sheila.
Thanks,
Vickie
