Steve, None of my Carter ancestors relate to your names or
locations. My Carter line began in America with Giles Carter who came
from England and settled in Virginia. To my knowledge none of my
direct ancestors lived in Kentucky or
the Carolinas. Eventually my line settled in Alabama. My father came
to Texas as a young man. Don't get discouraged in your search. Good
