Chip,
Sorry, I did not page down in this message and did not see the rest of your
pedigree. Based on my input into my Family Tree Maker program we are 7th
cousins once removed and our Most Recent Common Ancestor (MRCA) is William
Gaston b 1690 d 1770 Co Antrim, Ireland m Olive Lemon.
Our match is not on the Carter line; however, as I stated before your
Carter's were very close neighbors to my John Terry 1752 - 1834 who was
affiliated with the Methodist movement for 58 years in Chester County, South
Carolina and he held services at his home. He appears on deeds and wills for
several families in Chester County area on Sandy River.
FYI: I have had two Family Finder matches on the Gaston-Lemon line. One a
descendant of William Gaston and one a Lemon family descendant also from
Ireland.
Robert "Mike" Terry
