Carswells Celebrate Anniversary 1974
Mr. And Mrs. Kenneth E. Carswell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary
Wednesday evening with a reception at the Macon Elks with their daughter

The Carswells were married April 10, 1924 at the brides home on Rose Place.
The Rev. Oliver Hart, rector of Christ Church, performed the ceremony.

Baptist Church. Of the 16 years he served on the county commission he was
chairman of the board five years. He has also been district governor of
Lions International.

Subject: [Carswell] Parents of Kenneth E.CARSWELL of Bibb co, GA
I have traced Kenneth E. CARSWELL (dob 17 Oct 1903; dod Feb. 1987 in
Macon, Bibb co, GA) back to his mother , Sarah CARSWELL who is listed
as "Head" on the 1920 Fed Census, Bibb co, Macon City, ED#31, Sheet 7
B, Line 21. Her sons, Kenneth(16) and Roger(14) are listed with her.
But I don't know Sarah's husband's name or HIS parents
names...obviously surname CARSWELL...
I am trying to make a connection between Kenneth E CARSWELL and my
Grand/GreatAunt, Gertrude Lindsey CARSWELL's family but without
Kenneth's father's name, I'm at the proverbial "Brick Wall"!
Any one out there know Kenneth CARSWELL's family?
