Hi Marsha,
I descend from a Robert Carson born 1730s that moved from PA (Lancaster Co)
to Rowan/Orange/Guilford NC c1760. My DNA matches the Moses Carson line.
Moses was deeded the goods and chattels of a Robert Carson who died 1760
Cumberland PA (some type of relatives).
A Thomas Carson born 1740 that married Mary Smith in DE moved to Washington
PA and died there (had a bunch of children). A descendant of his line
matches fairly closely with my DNA.
Have you identified a male Carson from your line that could do a YDNA test?

Hello,
My Robert Carson of Pa. m. Leah Reading of NJ both born in mid 1870's.. They
had a son Wm. Carson in Washington Co. Pa. in 1799. I have the history from
that point down on Wm.. I don't know if Wm. had any syblings that is what I
am looking for here..Robert and Leah moved to Ohio where they both died. Wm.
m. Cynthia Broadwell in 1826 believe in Ohio.. After which they moved to
ILL..(my dates are not in front of me so I am running on memory). They had many
children, some of them died young..Seven or so survived. Is there anyone out
there that connects with this family? Thanks for any help its much
appreciated.
Marsha
