Hi Sandy, thank you for your kind words. I haven't traced any of my Carsons
to Washington State, and am stuck in Ohio. I have a marriage record for
William J. Carson in Logan County, Ohio and I think he is the William J.
Carson in the 1850 census for Rushcreek Township, but I haven't been able to
trace him any further back.
I don't think there is much for Washington State in my local libary, but
they do have a little about Pennsylvania. Just give me name, date, and
location for each lookup you would like and I'll certainly give it a try
next time I am there.
Eric
I've been watching you. You're good! You must spend
considerable
time at the library.
I have a Carson line that I'm tracing in Tacoma, WA. I don't
suppose you do any research there do u?
Do u ever get any requests for there? If u do I have quite a bit on my
Carson line and will share. I am dead locked though in PA. I have my great
grandfathers name and his wife but there are so many James
Carson, her name
is Sarah Edminston. John E. Carson is my g grandfather and he was
born Nov. 13, 1855.
I also have a 1850 & 1860 index of the Carson and Edminston for Fayette
County, PA. Which have a James and there is a John and Samuel (John had a
son by the name of Samuel), so they could be family names. Don't
know where to go from there though.
