Gary,
To answer your question....the DNA pattern of a descendant of Henry Maxwell m Agnes Carson
- d/o Walter Carson , Nathanial Carson m Esther Carson and William Jesse Maxwell b ca 1796
m Eliz Carson b ca 1797(prob d/o James Carson of York Co Pa SEE BELOW- with a Robert
Maxwell as exec) .
As you know Josette Maxwell is the recognized expert on the Maxwell- Carson lines....
I believe she thinks but cant prove that Robert Maxwell of Lancaster Co, Pa is probably a
brother (or close relative) of her Henry Maxwell....if memory servs me there is a Henry
Maxwell mentioned in Robert Maxwells will?
I can say that all of the Maxwell researchers hope we can find a backdoor to our Maxwells
thru the Carson family.
I feel we are very close to some kind of breakthru????

Don, I suspect that is the same Elizabeth (from my posting awhile ago).
Here's a Carson - Maxwell marriage:
PA marriages - 12/19/1770 Esther CARSON ? Nathaniel Maxwell
Is this connected to your same Carson - Maxwell line?
I still suspect there might be a connection between my David Carson line and
Walter Carson line based on geographic proximity in Rowan and Rutherford NC.
I think David was a son of Robert Carson - Margaret Woods married 1755
Lancaster PA (various recent findings support that his father was Robert).
Robert seems to be the one in Rowan 1759, in Orange/Caswell 1764-1766, in Guilford
1779, then in Rowan/Iredell 1780. I figure he moved to TN with Moses and
other relatives c1780 although who knows...there were several Roberts in the
same area.
My DNA matches the Moses Carson line although Moses is not my direct
ancestor. He seems to be an cousin of my line. In Cowles book written 1935, Moses
is listed as a brother of William Carson, father of Lindsey Carson,
grandfather of Kit. The book says they had cousins named William, Robert and James.
These siblings and cousins moved to northwestern NC 1750s. I think this
Robert is probably the father of my David, given the DNA links and other evidence.
