Thanks to all who have commented on the contents of the Clan Carson Website.
This has resulted in several improvements
Site Improvements
Thanks to Al Carson of Texas who pointed out the links from the button bar to
various parts of the site were almost unreadable against the tartan
background after the page had been visited. This has now been changed.
Following comments regarding confusion over the dates contained within the
database these have now been changed. There was uncertainty over whither
04/05/1850 was the 4th May 1850 or 5th April 1850. The date is now stated as
4th May 1850.
Apology
I should have mentioned in the last newsletter that James Louth was visitor
4000 to the Clan Carson Website. James I understand is based in Canada.
New Features
As promised there are now details of over 50 Carson's who were resident in
County Antrim at the time of the 1851 Census. These can be accessed via the
"1851 Antrim Census" button on the button bar.
Future Features
In October a new feature will be added containing information about
Churchyards and Cemeteries in County Tyrone.
In November a list of Carson Weddings will be added covering the period 1847
to 1864
Update
There are now over 1000 Carson's listed in the Clan Carson Database.
The Bulletin page has a new addition. Please visit and see if you can help.
Competition
Each month, until I run out of ideas, there will be a competition relating to
the website.
This months competition relates to the oldest known Carson. The oldest Carson
in the Database lived until they were 92 years old. Can you beat that? If so
let me know.
Trust you enjoy the improvements

Robert Carson
