Peggy,
Sorry, I do not believe that I am related to your Carsons. I can trace my Carsons of
Rockcastle County, Kentucky back only to Washington County, Virginia.

The only information I have on your Carsons is from the book
History of Little Pine Valley
History & Genealogy of Little Pine Valley and its Residents
By Harry Stephenson, Sr
Camp Hill, PA
1992
I do not own a copy of the book. My wife and I were planning a trip to the Pennsylvania
Grand Canyon and a friend loaned me her copy of the book. I found it interesting not only
because of the Carson connection, but because our old stone house in Lower Paxton Twp,
Dauphin County, PA is identified on some of the old maps in the book.

Sorry I could not be of more help.

Jerry - yes, these are my Carsons. I have George Carson (1758-1797) married to
Jane Murray, but have not found a source for this information. Could you help
with the source? I have George Carson's father as John Carson, but this is very
confusing, due to there being many John Carsons in the area at this time. I
visited Carsonville a few years back. I also visited Carsontown, which was
founded by Robert Carson and Elizabeth Welsh. I stopped for lunch at the
Waterville Hotel, which was once owned by Samuel Carson. My great great
grandfather was Samuel's brother.
Jerry, are these your Carsons, also?
