CARSON SERVING IN B. R. T. POST
T. J. Carson of The Dalles left today for Portland to assume the
position of acting general chairman of the Brotherhood of Railroad
Trainmen in Oregon. The chairmanship was vacated by C. W. Stevens, who
has been appointed vice-president of the organization.
Carson will hold office in Portland (OR.) until the vacancy is filled by
an election among the lodges under headquarters jurisdiction.
FUNERAL SCHDULED FOR DALLES MAN
Funeral services for Fred Huddleston, 55, will be held from the C. R.
Callaway & Son chapel at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Charles F. Losie in
charge. Interment will be at the I.O.O.F. cemetery here.
Mr. Huddleston died Wednesday at his home at 417 E. Eighth street.
