I have a Pension CLaim record for Walter Carson who served
as Private who died in York South Carolina Jan 8, l829.
He was married to Mary ? b. 1764, died in Clark County
Georgia 24 January 1848. They were married in York
County South Carolina in 1780 according to statement made
by a Jane Carson b. 1767 who was a resident of Clark
County Georgia at the time of the Pension claim on behalf
of the widow.
Family bible records as follows are part of the pension:
Walter Carson b. April 15, l751
Mary Carson b. March 4, l764
Walter and Mary married March 24, l780
Children:
Susannah b. July 21, l782
Able b. Nov 2, l784
Jane b. Sept 10, 1786
Mary b. July 14, 1790

Walter, Martha, Rebecca, William and Mary were the only
ones stated as alive in 1850 when the son Walter filed
after the death of his mother. At that time, Walter was
in Clark County Georgia.
Does anyone have documented evidence of who the parents
of this Walter Carson might be? Does anyone have access to
the original pension filed by Walter Carson as oppposed to
what I have which is the pension claim of his widow. This
only refers back in terms of proof of having served in the
Rev. War. There are, of course, other Walter Carsons who
served in the Rev. War.
