Subject: Re: [CARSON] JOHN AND JAMES OR SAMUEL. CARSON
ANYONE RELATED TO THE above named Carson's from Centre,PA? Patten
township,
and 1870, Probably in the mid 1860's in Walker Centre, PA
Have more names but my part of them moved to Tacoma, WA
My grandfather was John E. Carson and married Mary Elizabeth McCreath.
John was born about 1855 Nov.
Mary born July 1862 in ILL
They started moving west in 1885 as their first child, Genevieve was born
Nov. 1886 in Kansas, the next James was born Aug. 1889 in Iowa
Helen, Aug. 1894 was born in New Mexico as was my grandfather Park Edward
in
March 1896.
The rest of them were born in Tacoma.
John Edmonston worked as a boilermaker.
Is that on the docks or railroad I don't know, if someone wants to
enlighten
me on that would appreciate it!
Looking for some live relatives.
My father Harold (Parks son) was a jockey.
Hoping someone may recognize some of the names of the children as they may
have been given names of other relatives.
Sandy (nee Carson) Poirier
Oh was there water in Centre, PA, I don't know, maybe lakes etc.
James, John's father may have been born in 1823 married to Sarah
Edminston
or Edmonston born 1826
They were the parents of:
Cordelia
Mary E
Irwin
Elizabeth.
Hope this isn't to newsy but wanted to get a few names out here as I have
asked before but I don't think in so much detail.
