Hi Sandy,
You might find a Carson descendant of another branch from back there a ways.
Doing the DNA can answer questions quickly sometimes. I found out
instantly that my Carson line and some not related moved together from PA to NC, NC,
SC and elsewhere.
My ancestor was named David Carson born 1755-65 Lancaster PA, and he was
likely the son of Robert Carson and Margaret Woods with siblings, uncles,
cousins named mostly William, Robert, Samuel, Joseph, David, John, James and
Alexander. After 1800, other names pop up.
If I find anything, I'll pass it along. Thanks.
Gary

Thanks, Gary, I wish I did. The only Carsons I've really known of were my
grandparents, William and Sarah. William had one son, Joseph. Joseph had one
son David, who died childless. I'm beginning to wonder if it is a lost cause.
Not that I'm giving up, but it does get discouraging. Thanks for your
support. Sandy
