Hiram King Carson b. 1816-1818, James b. 1818 to 1820, Matilda, Nancy and
others ....Question, where did Thomas Carson and wife die? In Franklin Co.,
TN or did they move on? Thomas J. Carson, Sr. b. 1816 TN moved to Texas and
entered thru Nacogdoches Co., TX Gateway. Found him in 1840 there. Owned
land in Robertson Co., TX about 1840 and married Elizabeth (Vizier) Jones,
widow of James Jones of MS. Believe James Jones died in MS as their first
daughter, Sarah Frances Jones was born in MS according to a later census.
Elizabeth (Vizier) Jones came to Texas and was issued land (headright) in
Walker/Montgomery co., TX. She married Thomas J. Carson b. 1816 TN in 1840/41
(marriage record - Black Boxes). They are listed on 1850 Census for Walker
Co., TX showing John L. McCan, hireling (a nephew) in their household.
Elizabeth Vizier may be a daughter of Andre Jacques Vizier, French soldier
during Rev. War from France. She died and Thomas remarried to 2) Mary Zarr
born Prussia. They are listed in 1870 Census in Burleson Co., TX. (need Mary
Zarr's parentage in TX..) Is Benjamin Zarr of Austin Co., TX in 1850 Census
