I grew up next door to a Family by the name of LeCompt. Father's name was
Herb, don't recall mother's name. Children were Cindy (deceased) and Herb
Jr.. This was in Pasadena, Maryland. And as far as I know they are still
there. My Carson lineage started in Northern Ireland. My G. G. G.
Grandfather John and his wife Isabella came across through New Foundland and
ended up in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. They both were illiterate so
written documentation is scarce earlier than 1836. I'll tke anything anyone
has and am willing to share all that I have. Surnames: CARSON, STALLINGS,
PORTER, GAHAGEN, RENN AND MURPHY. PENNSYLVANIA AND MARYLAND. Thanx to all
who respond! DC

No Arthur or George Carson on the 1920 census index for South Dakota. I
don't have access to the 1930 index.
Thanks... I've got access to
Ancestry.com and could not find him in
either,
it really is becoming a bit frustrating... I also couldnt find Bill in the
1930
census, he would have been 4 yrs. old.
