PROBLEMS:
o there are two George Carsons in Chester early on, one died 1747
(Marlborough) and the other 1759 in East Marlborough. In the early
wills, there are several instances of a George Carson who is a
witness/executor in Marlborough Twp Apr 1732, 1740, 1745. There is a George
Carson who witnesses a land transaction related to the Pussey
family Sep 1750.
o between 1758-1765, there is mention of an Alexander, David,
George, Jannet and Samuel Carson in Chester land records pertaining to
Chester Ct., details unknown
o there are claims of early Carsons on Tax lists with different
spelling of the last name,
need to be checked. Walter Carson 1729 New London, George
Carson 1724, Patrick Carson Kennet 1725, Richard Carson (one in
East Marlborough and the other in Kennett) and William Carson
Sadsbury in 1732.
