I got these links from Carolyn Ericson's website called Kizzin Kousins on
the East TX mailing list. I'm not promoting them and haven't even checked
them but you might want to. Her info is usually pretty good. I don't think
any of them are pay sites but not sure.

If you are having difficulty locating the records you need on the internet,
I have a couple of addresses for you which may be of help. The GENEALOGY
HELPLIST is a network of volunteers, located in every county of every state,
who are willing to do look-ups of information for you. Go to
http://helplist.org/ and see what you can find.
RANDOM ACTS OF GENEALOGICAL KINDNESS was started several years ago by two
researchers who saw the need for such a service in their region. Successful
genealogical research is based on people helping people. Volunteers
unselfishly provide information available in their area to those who live
far away. You may access this site at
http://raogk.rootsweb.com/
Another very good help list page is GENEALOGY LOOK-UP PAGE, which lists over
50 volunteers who will look up everything from censuses to Family TreeMaker
CDs from specific counties and states in the U.S., United Kingdom and
Australia. Visit
http://www.concentric.net/~Cande/lookups.shtml
iRoots.Net Community LookUp Library provides researchers with access to
genealogy and local history resources that may not be available in their
local community. This is a member-supported look-up library, where you can
ask for lookups of information in specific resources. Visit
