Sorry Vam, I did, & was thinking I could offer you a better decision on the
Content issue.
I had just re-located some 1500s Bangs and thought I could take it
somewhere - but nothing yet:
Richd Bangs b 1526 Smallburgh d 1586 Norwich Eng md Margaret; Edmund, Eliz,
Robt, Sarah, John; w/3 pages of 1500/ 1600/ 1700s Bangs following:
- to be found in the Bangs-L Archives in a Marika Kolb 12 Feb 2000 email.
I'll have more later - pls continue to remind & push me, because I want
to resolve this issue. I can't yet decide whether the longer term members of
the Bangs-L List have come to a conclusion on the Content/ Abiah/ Carruthers
issue, and if so, to what conclusion. We sure have had enthusistic &
informed participation. I'll be happier once someone with this issue in mind
has the chance to review the 60 boxes of the Yale Collection.

Barry, did you receive the Bangs info I sent you by snail mail?
I was disappointed that I could only find Content Bangs, wife of John---no
other to marry John Carruthers. Also in Jonathan Bang's will he did not
name a daughter Content.
Give me your thoughts on whether it has been documented that Content
Carruthers's maiden name was Bangs and she was the daughter of Johnathan
Bangs.
Thanks! Vam
