Hello Barbara, & (Stephanie Labert <sdlabert(a)mvtel.net), et al,
I'll mail you a copy of Dean Dudley's BANGS Genealogy at no cost. Could you
share it w/the other BANGS. Because the 'original' is oversized, I'll send 3
extra because the copy generation quality is beginning to degrade, though if you could,
pls make some more for the N Eng crowd. The env should go out tomorrow.

Barbara, Has N Eng accepted that a Bangs (John/ Jon) was a direct desc of Edwd, the
ANNE pioneer, and was then md into the Carruthers family, and, w/a Carruthers as a
partner/, pursued a maritime endeavour in NCar.?
"PS: The BANGS papers at Yale - have they been fully reviewed?"

Hi Barry,
The Yale Collection was interesting, but I certainly didn't attempt to read
everything! I was primarily searching for ancestors not descendants, and I found nothing .
Doesn't mean it's not there though. My most recent BANGS is Hannah, dau of Edward
BANGS and Lydia HICKS (info from you,
thanks again). Lydia (1612-1677) was dau of Robert HICKS and Margaret WINSLOW, which is
another line to investigate further. I think it was her brother or father who was one of
the backers of The Mayflower, but they immigrated on later ships."
Gini
Gini, have any of the Yale papers been digitized, so we could do an electronic
search???
Ref the Anne and the Mayflower, The Anne was a Mayflower spillover ship, generally
intended to have been w/the Mayflower. There are some written references to this for those
interested! bw
