Hi List, I am posting this, my husband's female direct line, in the hope
that someone may connect. Charles born 1817 is not found anywhere in the
OPR on Scotlands People site, he does give his birthplace as Renfrew in 1881
census. I have not found a death for him either which is frustrating and
might solve my problem. His marriage cert gives no parents. Both he and
his family worked in the jute mills which were booming in Dundee at this
time.
Any help or tips would be appreciated.
