My grand father in Tenn was a Primitive Baptist preacher and had
a gin mill near sugar creek. and so did his son william , they got
into alot of that , they had alot of land and were always building
something. According to the spencer history ( another family name)
the Sons of William Carruthers moved to Hickman co Tenn
Andrew, ( his wife Catharine ) Samuel, William and sister
naomi. The family did guite a bit there and there sons served
in the civil war. There is alot of history here. and dose anyone
know of a Hugh Carothers he is mention in the history . I do have
one but not until 1880 I'm looking for one around 1820.?
