Hello Carruth family and friends,
Recently I have written to you about the ListBot Carruth e-mail list not being able to be
used after 06 Aug. 2001. I have updated links to this list on my webpage to the RootsWeb
Carruth e-mail list and invite all of you to join there. This page is found at:
http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/surname/c/carruth.html
While your at the RootsWeb site I want to invite you to check out the Carruth resources
page at:
http://resources.rootsweb.com/surnames/c/a/CARRUTH/
On this page you can find many sources of Carruth family information. Also, check out the
board queries section about three quarters of the way down the page. This board can also
be accessed at:
http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=board&r=rw&p=Surnames.Carruth
There are many messages archived there. In addition you can access the main board page
and search all the boards for "Carruth" and find information posted on other
boards as well. There are a large number of messages archived there related to the
Carruth family. The main board page can be accessed at:
http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=main&r=rw
I have recently added links to the Coddle Creek Church and a 1915 map of Madison County,
Ga., at my website on page 2. You can access this page at:
http://hometown.aol.com/harvey33/page2.html
All the links there are updated and working as of today. These link addresses are changed
from time to time by those who put there records up, but they are all current and I have
added a few others in addition to those mentioned above. The map contains
"Carruth" just below Ft. Lamar in Madison County. This will be especially
interesting to those who are descendants of Robert Carruth who moved to Georgia from N.C.
in the 1790's.
In case you don't know, on page three of the above webpage are found many records for
the Carruth family. You can access them at:
http://hometown.aol.com/harvey33/page3.html
I hope you are all doing well and wish you the best of luck in your genealogy research.
Best Wishes,
Harvey Carrouth
