Yep, Methodism is the reason for the name 'Wesley' in the Carroll line.
There were a bunch of Hearns who were also circuit riders, and a few
Redwines. There are two books which have dozens of name mentions of the
Carroll and Hearn methodist circuit riders in early GA and FL. If
anyone is interested I'll TRY to dig up the titles. Not too
interesting, just names.
