Help!!! I'm lost in Missouri and can't be located!!!
My name is Phillip CARROLL, I came from Ireland during the potato famine
with my brother, you know with all those thousands of other people. It
seems that my brothers' name escapes my memory too, along with our
birthdates, you know all the ususal details needed for future family
members to find me right off. I vowed no one would find me and so far, no
one has!!!!
I must have married someone because I had two lovely daughters, it seems I
do remember their names but not much else.... Julia grew up and married
some fellow named CALLAHAN, my Julia had at least 2 real cute kids; this is
all that I can remember about my Julia and her cute kids, dand blasted
memory!!; & my Mary Alice 'Mollie' was born sometime about 1861 in this
here state & married a real good man named George Washington GRIGGS in 1882
in Hudson Township, Bates County, Missouri. George was the son of Seth E.
& Massie Anne (WARNER) GRIGGS also of Hudson Township.
I have sidestepped from all record takers and have been on the run for
years from my future family. When My 'Mollie' married we were living in
Rockville, Bates County Missouri; I guess I wasn't careful enough because I
did leave that clue, darn those nosey record people. My 'Mollie' had 4
real cute gals.... Margaret Ethel, Bertha, Leona Massie & Georgia Gail
GRIGGS. 'Mollie' left this earth about 1893 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma (Indian
Territory)
I think I might have left this earth about 1896 and once again left no
trace of my final resting place...
Can anyone out there please help me find myself; I am finally getting
lonely eluding all.
I have been searching for this Phillip CARROLL for about 20 years. The
1890 census would have been a nice source to see, but since it is not
available, I thought I would try the internet. I have tried most all of
the County lists in Missouri too.
Thank You grgrgrgrand daughter Linda
