Looking for descendants and any information on John Joseph Carroll, husband of Mary Gavin,
and son of Richard Carroll. JJ Carroll was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, 1850, moved to New
Orleans as a young boy, married Mary Gavin and
eventually ended up in Galveston, Texas, via a brief stay in Beaumont, Texas. I know two
of daughters married into the Mongan and Marchand families in Galveston.
Any help would be appreciated... thanks..

I am trying to find info on Michael CARROLL, b/1820 in Ireland. Somehow he
arrived in Nicholas Co.,WV in the 1840's, married Elizabeth Brock, and lived
until 1880 in Braxton Co.,WV. I have tried searching in Ireland with no
success. Does anyone know this family?
Sandy McSpadden.
