Charles:
You might try the Carrollton Estate, which is now a Maryland
State Museum, located in Baltimore, Maryland. Also, I have
personally researched the Charles Carroll family, starting with
Charles Carroll I and ending with Charles Carroll VIII, in the
effort to prove /disprove a family story that we are somehow related
to Charles Carroll III (the Signer of the Declaration of
Independence). So far, I have not proven that we are related, and
have tended to prove the story not completely accurate. Regardless,
I do have the entire direct lineage of Charles Carroll from 1 to 8.
Would that help you?

Charles, I can't give you the name of anyone researching descendants of
Charles Carroll, although I suspect there are several. I can, however, at
least give you the address of a site related to a commemorative medal
established by the state of Maryland for him. Might lead to something.

Hope this is right, if not let me know.
