There seem to be alot, including my ancestors, who came from Ireland(
Tipperary on my line), to Canada then to Us and in my case through IL to
KS.
Was there a specific port they left Ireland from?
Was there a specific port they arrived in Canada at?
Were there specific sites from Hamiilton Can in my case through Il to
Leavenwotth KS that they stayed or camped at along the way?
In my case my ancestor came over around 1837 to 1840, prior to the
famine influx. Were there records prior to the famine emigration?
Did they travelers sail directly to Canada or to England first then CAN
and did they stop at US ports first or down the St. Lawrence?
If anyone can answer these for me with confidence I would be ever
grateful and share a Griffiths lookup for them!
Gary
