I am doing some fishing here:
I may have a connection, but it is only based on names and no facts. My
late father, Frank Carroll, spoke about Riley cousins in Boston. His
great grandfather, Henry Carroll, was born in Ireland and moved to
Liverpool England in the 1840's with his family. According to the 1851
Liverpool Census, Henry had a child named Catherine aged 3, Agnes age
12, and Francis (Frank) age 1. I am related through Frank. A Patrick
Riley and a Andrew Collins was a witness to my Frank Carroll's U.S.
Naturalization in 1874.

I have been trying to find out about a Catherine Carroll who came from Ireland in 1852.
She married a John Fenning who also was from Ireland. They lived in New york where 2
children were born James and Mary, then moved to Ft Leavenworth where 2 more children were
born, Charles and Frances(Frank). A sister named Agnes Carroll, who married a Riley from
Ireland. They also attended Immaculate Conception in Leavenworth. I wonder if there could
be a connection? I do know that Catherine came from Dublin, where her Father was a member
of the Judicial system.
