Trying to connect my Etta (REDD) CARROLL to HOWELLS.
Etta REDD b. Apr 15, 1871 in ?, SC, d. Mar 19, 1933 in Rock Hill, SC, on her
death certificate her parents are listed as Angeline and J. C. REDD.
A HOWELL family line on the internet has an Angeline HOWELL married to a John
REDD. This line of HOWELL'S I believe are from the Aiken, SC area.
My mother (Annetta QUINN) once told me that she had visited some cousins in
Aiken. BUT she didn't mention the names or specific area.
There was also a mention of an Aunt Ida from either the Aiken or Greensville,
area.
Etta REDD married an U. C. CARROLL maybe around 1889, their first son James
Hamilton CARROLL was born in 1890. They also had, William W. , U.(Urenus?) C.
Junior, and Gertrude Marie.
Any help connecting to HOWELLS much appreciated.
Thank you
Diane in Milw.
