CARROLL, Hamilton Alexander (known as Irish Hamilton)
b. abt 1784 in Ireland, d abt 1856
Married twice, once to LATHAM, Judith and then to
MCDANIEL, (McDonald) Susan
Some children
CARROLL, Hamilton A. Jr. b. Oct. 1, 1823, d. ?
half-brother to Ham Jr. is
CARROLL, Charles M. b. abt 1828, d. ? supposedly left his family after
serving in the Civil War and went to GA. (my line) He served in Co. H, 18
Reg�d SC Infantry.
CARROLL, Charles Alexander �ZAN� ,b. 1856, d. 1935 m. to BENFIELD, �Sallie�
in 1898.
Many of these are buried in �Beth Shiloh� cemetery at York, SC and Laurelwood
cemetery in RockHill, SC.
Many are mentioned in the �Joe Hart� papers and the �Wm. Bowen Reminisces�.
