I am looking for a Carroll Family that lived in Washington DC on Oaks Street between
1952-56. There is not much infomation I can recall, I was just 2 or 3 at the time. What
facts I do know are the following: The father was known as "Bucky" Carroll and
he had three children, 2 boys, and 1 girl. I don't ever recall a mother but his
(Bucky's) father lived lived with them. I can only recall two of the children's
names, Johnny and Pam. The oldest son's name escapes me. My father was Clyde Jenkins
and he and Bucky were great friends. Social Services took my two sisters and I from our
father and placed us in an Orphanage called the "Central Union Mission" there in
DC around 54-55. Later Bucky's children showed up there also. Bucky came to visit all
of us serveral times, but the only visit from my father brought the notice that our mother
had died. If there is any "Carroll" out there that might have any information I
would greatly appreciate an email. By the way my name is Dann!
y and my sisters are Linda and Brenda.
