Hi Bettye,
Actually, I am Julianna Carroll Elizondo (Ted is my husband) and my
Carrolls
were in Maryland (John) born in 1771. Ann Panny was in Maryland also born
I
think 1771. Ann died and was buried in Portsmouth, Scioto County and
buried
in Clay County? Cemetery. They came to Illinois and settled in Greene
County which became Jersey shortly thereafter-- John and Ann had children
I
think John B., Henry, Mary Maria and Richard V. Carroll. I hope some of
these names ring some bells. I also found Smiths are related in
Washington,
DC area--
Julie
