In the last four attachments that I've received from people I don't know
have contained viruses. Thankfully I've got Norton which took care of the
problem. Please scan your attached emails and don't open those attachments
from people you don't know. A great website that provides a free virus scan
is
http://www.pcpitstop.com Also, an investment in Norton is worth it's
weight in gold.

I have just received 6 messages from the list ALL of them with
attachments. I tried to reply to the ppl that sent the virus but every
message came back as Returned Mail: User Unknown
On the
http://securityresponse.symantec.com page there is an
explanation
on the W32.Badtrans.13312@mm virus discovered on April 11, 2001. It is
a
MAPI worm that replies to all unread messages in your email message folder
and drops a backdoor Trojan.
The web page gives removal instructions.
I have Norton and have been using it. Unfortunately it created a problem
with my
computer and changed the email preferences. My email would not close
after downloading and would repeat the download 2 and 3 more times so I
removed Norton from email only. If I in turn sent any attachments or viruses
to anyone, please accept my apologies. It was not my intention.
