Hi, Jeremy,
I descend from Jacob's other sister Martha M. (md. James Levi Miller). You can read a
write-up of my research on Dennis and Nancy, which includes some info about Jacob, at

I don't always take complete notes on later laterals, but here are other notes and
refs I have on Jacob.

C456 - 6 Jul 1855 Dennis and Nancy to Druallen Wallace for $100, 40a sw [left out which
1/4] of sw1/4 of sec20 in twp4 south of range 25. Nancy rellinquishes. This is recorded
by Clark T. Cockburn and in the proof and relinquishment he says it is ?Jacob? and
?Mohala? in the absence of her husband. Recd 7 Jul 1855
C457 The above deed is repeated, this time with Dennis and Nancy proving and
relinquishing.

service for --- and marking out a county road.
27 - 6 Jul 1846: Orderd that the report made by ---hur Hopper and Jacob Carroll viewers of
a road commencing at the township line between townships Sulphur Spring and Caddo thence
in a southerly direction to intersect the road that leads from Clark co to Polk co at or
near E. L. ---ndles be and the same is hereby received and the road declared to be a co
road and ordered to open? according to law and that Jev-i- Smith be and he is hereby
appointed overseer of said road.
117 - Mon 2 ---ber 1848 [after Apr <Dec] Russell Cockburn summoned to next term as

Jacob C. Carroll - I Jacob C. Carroll of Montgomery County State of Arkansas do solemnly

and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Union of States thereunder and
that I will in like manner abide by and faithfully support all laws and proclamations
which have been made during the Existing Rebellion with Reference to Slaves So help me
God.
